Relaxing Acupressure Massage
Deep Relaxation, Stress Release
1 hour / 90minutes / 2 hours
This deep tissue massage specifically targets the body's stress points to help release accumulated stress and tension. It not only relaxes the muscles but also promotes harmony between body and mind, allowing you to achieve deep relaxation and recovery from the busyness of everyday life.
Myofascial Release and Deep Muscle Massage
Myofascial release is an important soft tissue in the human body; it is divided into superficial, deep, and visceral fascia. Myofascial Release focuses on the treatment of adhesions in the superficial fascia, while Deep Tissue Massage deals with a broader scope, such as superficial and deep muscles, deep fascia, tendons, and ligaments. When massage therapists use these types of massage techniques, they sometimes incorporate gentle stretching movements to increase muscle elasticity and tension, as well as joint flexibility.

Western-style Muscle Relaxation Cupping
Western-style muscle relaxation cupping uses professional instruments, unlike traditional fire cupping that involves flames, making it relatively safer; it also differs from Chinese-style cupping, which focuses on meridian points. Western cupping aims for a quicker relaxation of the superficial muscles and shallow fascia, enabling massage therapists to more effectively relieve deeper muscle layers afterwards. Since Western cupping focuses on relaxing the superficial muscles and fascia, it does not leave unsightly cupping marks on the body and reduces the risk of infection.
Western cupping techniques are usually used to enhance the effects of other massage methods, but not everyone is suitable for this technique, such as:
-
People with skin wounds,
-
Those with dermatitis,
-
Or individuals with advanced diabetes, etc.
Therefore, massage therapists must assess your current physical condition in advance to decide whether cupping is appropriate on the day of treatment.
Sports Massage
Sports recovery massage includes three techniques:
-
Pre-Sport:
Pre-sport massage techniques are relatively robust and fast. This is to relax the superficial fascia, soften the muscle fibers, and increase joint mobility, allowing more oxygen to reach the muscle fiber cells. This can prevent sports injuries and shorten muscle repair time. If you are an athlete or a competitor, you can choose this specific massage a few days before an event or competition (ideally 2-3 days in advance) to help achieve your desired goals.
-
Post-Sport:
Post-sport massage techniques are also fast but use deeper pressure compared to pre-sport massages. The massage often includes stretching movements to facilitate the faster expulsion of lactic acid from the muscle fibers, stimulate blood circulation, and thus speed up muscle recovery. Post-sport massage also promotes fascial health and increases muscle elasticity and tension.
-
Post-Injury Relief:
Post-injury relief massage includes two distinctly different techniques: A. Acute B. Chronic.
A. Acute Acute post-sports injury relief massage is provided within 36 hours to 7 days after an injury, applying specific soothing massage techniques to the affected area. This professional technique can alleviate the discomfort caused by sports injuries. However, if your injury is severe, it is advisable to consult a medical specialist for initial treatment to avoid missing the critical treatment window.
B. Chronic Chronic sports injuries refer to old or recurrent injuries at the same body part, commonly seen in occupational injuries or among athletes. The massage techniques for chronic injury relief are slower and deeper, designed to achieve deeper muscle relaxation and relief, separate long-adhered fascia, and improve local blood circulation, as well as enhance muscle fiber elasticity and joint mobility.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a highly specialized massage technique that can alleviate body edema, stimulate body fluid circulation, and maintain a healthy balance of the immune system. Although lymphatic drainage massage is beneficial for the body, certain specific groups of people should consult their family doctor or a specialist before booking an appointment, such as:
-
Individuals undergoing cancer treatment
-
Those with a recent history of infection
-
Those with a recent history of inflammation
-
Individuals with heart disease
-
Individuals with kidney disease
-
Those with severe varicose veins
-
Those with a history of tuberculosis
-
Asthma sufferers
-
Individuals with low blood pressure
The positive effects of lymphatic drainage massage depend on whether the massage therapist has received formal professional training and has a proficient understanding of human anatomy, as these factors will directly influence the outcome of the lymphatic drainage massage.
